INTRODUCTION

Qingdao GangWan International Logistics CO., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “Gangwan”) being called PENAVICO Qingdao GangWan Logistics Branch was set up in November 1991, and was incorporated into COSCO Qingdao International Freight CO.,LTD in 1996; after that according to the COSCO group service reorganization request, Gangwan was incorporated into COSCO Logistics (Qingdao) CO.,LTD in January, 2002. In October 2004, Gangwan was founded as an independent legal company co-invested in RMB10,000,000 by COSCO Logistics (Qingdao) and PENAVICO Qingdao.

Our business scope covers: CFS business; logistics; storage of cargo; container repaire; agency etc. We possess nearly 180 high-quality managing staff, professional operators and skillful workers, and have accumulated rich management and professional operating experiences. Consequently, we have the capacity of annual operating 150,000 TEU export containers and 100 million ton km road transportation.   

CFS BUSINESS

GangWan CFS is one of the earliest CFS approved by Qingdao Customs engaged in container superintendency and CFS operation. It possesses a well-trained employee group, has rich experiences in container management and CFS business filed, and has passed through British BSI Quality Management System Certification.

With the superior location in QianWan Harbor, which is only hundreds meters away on the left side of No. 2 Terminal Inspection Gate; the CFS area is up to 88,000 sq.m presently. We possess 9 sets of professional empty/full container forklifts and container handlers, and a trailer-trucks fleet over 20 sets which can meet all the requirements of transport and distribution in QianWan Harbor.

We adopt the top IBM and apply the leading "Container CFS Information Management System". Gangwan extremely pays much attention to the container informationization management all the time, and keeps continuing to enlarge the technical investment. Moreover, we have set up information table system, which is connected to make EDI exchange among with computer systems of Qingdao Port, Customs House, and some large shipping companies and agencies. Along with the information system platform’s progressing unceasingly, we enhance the management efficiency, reduce operation error rate, and promote service level comprehensively.

Gangwan has developed the container management system in 2005:

1.      The advanced wireless networking and the wireless touchscreen are used;

2.      Modular structure management raises the work efficiency and the operation accuracy, and enables the rate of container stack position accuracy to achieve 100 percent;

Repair Service

CFS Repair Dep. has got the certifications of CCS, GL, ABS and KR with skillful technical talent, proficient repair workers, and 2 IICL Inspectors. Equipped with plasma cut-welding and CO2 protect-welding etc.We do have the capacity of repairing, maintaining and cleaning all kinds of standard and special container such as open-top, flatrack etc. We can make and remake various clothing containers. Both the repair and cleaning level can reach the IICL standard. We are deputed to be the repair service station for many international shipping companies.

Container & Cargo Transportation Business

The Vehicle Transportation Dept. has 37 container trailer-trucks, accepting commission from agencies and owners all time, providing on-time service in container Imp. & Exp. business, and the land-transportation of large-scale-unit cargo etc.

Freight Agency

Gangwan pledges attentive service throughout years, and has obtained supports and cooperation from many world-famous shipping companies such as COSCO, Maersk, MSC, PIL, and also a large quantities of agenies and cargo owner, which enables us to develop greatly.
